This is from Credit Card Services that say there is "nothing wrong with your account but...." It's unsolicited, unwarranted and annoying. They call repeatedly on home and cell phones, even changing their number.

Got a call from this number AGAIN promising a Caribbean cruise upon completion of a poll. Caller ID says "PO America", standing for "Pissed Off America" since it was from an obvious Obama supporter group based on the wording and the scumbag trick offer of a "free" cruise. Nah, it probably stands for "Piss On America" and tell them it's raining jobs.

I have been receiving calls at both my home and cell numbers (both are on the Do Not Call list) from this number for several months. Doing some research and have found that sometimes the scam is for rug steamers/carpet cleaners and the other is a scam mortgage restructure claiming affiliation with the VA. One of the best ways (besides reporting them to the FTC -- make sure you do that) to get back at them is to connect with your local TV news "problem solvers" team and let them investigate and ambush the people who show up. Here are some examples of people and news teams that did just that. (My newspaper reporter background comes in handy on things like this). I have received calls from the two non-toll free numbers multiple times. After watching videos of how the other two people handled this, I'll be contacting my friends at three of the local news stations tomorrow to see which ones want to ambush this company, which seems to give out only the name "Rug Steamer" when they show up. Personally, I think the morgage scam is a way to try to get your personal financial information and the carpet cleaning scam is a way for people to get into your house, case your belongings, and then come back later to break in and rob you. Don't fall for it and don't just complain. Do something and fight back.
